5:40pm 6:40pm The best of both worlds – leverage SAP Business ByDesign to build a unified global business The best of both worlds – leverage SAP Business ByDesign to build a unified global business Setting the scene: Subsidiary IT and business operations can be complicated and expensive to manage: * Synchronization of information * Heterogeneous application environments and near real time information sharing? * Integration/ deployment efforts are time consuming and expensive. Why would you invest to improve: Successful management of both worlds leads to high benefit: * Single version of the truth * Manage currency, exchange rates, language. * More effective cross-functional processes * Real–time information * Best practices and standardization across the company * Forecast Accuracy = inventory optimization * Profitability: Order tracking, from acceptance through fulfillment * Cash Flow: Revenue tracking, from invoice through cash receipt * Better company-wide governance and compliance (IFRS, SOX, Basel, company specific) * Improved customer experience However, conflicting priorities can lead to execution barriers: * One size does not fit all – Corporate suite and available resources may not fit subsidiaries * Subsidiaries need a little bit of all functions * Need for fast ROI requires quick deployments * Limited corporate internal resources to support subsidiary implementations * Usability – subsidiaries need applications that are easy to learn, easy to use * Support for a fast acquisition / exit strategy * Integration of truly independent businesses can create unnecessary dependencies ……..This presentation will discuss how a “two-tier ERP strategy”, delivered via the cloud is the quickest path to success Mark Ferguson SAP 0

2:35pm 3:20pm Taking a Strategic Approach to Supply Chain Risk Management – Aligning Supplier and Customer Strategies We live in uncertain times. Some question whether the current economic climate is a 'perfect storm' of issues, or simply a 'new norm'. Either way, managing uncertainty and risk has become a full time job. Supply Chains are now more complex than ever, and a drive to reduce costs has led to a growth in companies outsourcing and offshoring elements of the business. This has increased the complexity, amplified the risk and made having end-to-end control and visibility more important than ever. For many the risks have been too great – and have served as a warning to others. Surveys indicate that the globalisation trend may be reversing as a reaction to these risks. Some companies are now taking a very close look at how they mitigate and manage risk – however should we do more than simply reduce risk? Is there an opportunity to use this situation to create a more agile and flexible supply chain in tune with what the customer wants from you as a supplier? • What are the best companies doing? • Should cost or customer value be the driver behind sourcing decisions? • How do we create supply chain visibility throughout your supplier network? • How do we create and measure our suppliers in order to drive customer value? This presentation examines how to develop risk management and supply strategies using SCOR and SAP that are aligned to and support the competitive strategies of the end-to-end supply chain. 2:35pm 3:20pm How to improve ROI for your SAP Programme – Value of Independent Quality Assurance SAP programme success is strategically important to all companies that embark on SAP supported transformation initiatives. A number of companies embark on these programmes without the appropriate independent check and balance that would deliver their SAP programme on time and budget. It is only when programmes run into problems that independent advice is sort, normally the programme is over budget and behind plan. A fundamental approach taken by forward looking organisations is to seek independent advice as part of their programme delivery. This small investment up front in Quality Assurance has guided SAP programmes to meet their budget and timelines. The old view that Quality Assurance adds overhead has been replaced by a view that Quality Assurance is fundamental to delivering ROI for any SAP programme. Find out how other organisations have implemented Quality Assurance to deliver ROI, this has typically delivered savings over and above what was invested in Quality Assurance activities. 11:00am 11:45am A learner centric learning management system based on of SAP Learning Solution (LSO) This presentation shows how SAP is used within PwC to implement a learner centric learning solution bringing competency management, performance management and learning management together. PwC created a learner centric Learning Management System (LMS) on basis of SAP Enterprise Learning / Learning Solution 600 EHP4. This LMS supports the approach of a self directed learner. A newly developed user interface based on WebDynpro for ABAB, addresses the needs of the learner in an ideal way and combines three components of our learning architecture in one system. The training catalogue contains 650+ classroom trainings, internal and external e-learnings (WBT) as well as wikis, blogs, documents and other learning objects. These objects are represented by standard course types and others have been added to the system. A job catalogue of 150 jobs structuring a qualification catalogue of 600+ qualifications was built and integrated in this system as well. All course types in the catalogue are related to qualifications and jobs. Furthermore all learning objects are tagged by meta tags which are stored in custom specific infotypes that support a search engine based on user profiles. The presentation will demonstrate the extent to which the use of the standard components of SAP Enterprise Learning is possible and where custom specific development starts. The presentation will point out how to avoid the usual pit falls when using SAP LSO. Dirk Burkamp PricewaterhouseCoopers AG 0

1:40pm 2:25pm Implementation of SAP’s Compliant User Provisioning solution at Vodafone As part of their strategy to reduce Segregation of Duty (SoD) issues and improve service delivery, many organisations are looking to automate the process of setting up new SAP users, changing existing user permissions or closing accounts of those who have left the organisation; this is known as User Provisioning. Organisations want to achieve this quickly, smoothly and not introduce audit conflicts by giving users access to the wrong transactions in SAP. For organisations that have multiple regions or business units, a Shared Service operation or work with an outsourcer this is particularly relevant. Some organisations are addressing this across their whole IT landscape with a single Identity Management Solution (IDM) that integrates with each system. With SAP, as well as provisioning a user, an additional check needs to be made to ensure no Segregation of Duty conflicts are introduced. For this reason SAP GRC Compliant User Provisioning (CUP) needs to be used, and integrated with the corporate IDM, something that has not been achieved that often do date. Vodafone is most of the way through its EVO Programme, the global deployment of a common SAP platform. It was decided to deploy SAP GRC Compliant User Provisioning (CUP) as part of the global role and security model for EVO. The solution however, needed to integrate with Oracle Identity Management as part of Vodafone’s over-arching IT user provisioning strategy. Nick Tuffs, IT Security & Compliance Manager at Vodafone, will tell the story of the project, describing the challenges faced and the approach taken to successfully ensure a reliable business solution was put in place. Nick will be joined by su53 who worked with Vodafone to deploy SAP GRC CUP. Nick Tuffs Vodafone 0
2:35pm 3:20pm SAP User Access Reviews at Kimberly-Clark Audits were continuously raising the concerns that access re-certifications in Kimberly-Clark were not being done well (if at all) in all regions. The old process was very complex, using many spreadsheet files, lots of communications between functions and then lots of remediation work for the 55,000 or so users. Moving to a risk based tool, reduced the number of users to review to around 35,000 and set a target for team leaders to review their staff within 5-10 minutes. This presentation explains the issues; the approach followed and includes a demonstration of the tool developed to address this audit item. Chris Haigh Kimberly-Clark 0
