The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel will be the home of the UK & Ireland SAP User Group Conference 2011.
The newly refurbished Hilton Birmingham Metropole is one of the UK’s largest conference hotels. Located on the site of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) the Hilton has excellent transport links to Birmingham city centre and is conveniently located just off the M42 motorway. The hotel can comfortably cater for up to 2000 delegates with their 33 meeting and event rooms making it the ideal venue for the UK & Ireland SAP User Group Conference 2011.

Welcome Networking Reception & Gala Dinner
Following the overwhelming success of last year’s reception, which attracted over 200 delegates, we would like to invite you to join us in the Exhibition Hall on Sunday 20th November evening at the Hilton Hotel for a night of networking, entertainment and food.
This year the gala dinner, on Monday, 21st November, will be hosted on-site at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
Please note delegate fees include a Gala Dinner pass except Day Passes.
Dress Code for the dinner is black tie/lounge suits for gentlemen and cocktail/evening wear for ladies.
Accommodation
Book your accommodation…early! This year we are very pleased to be able to offer, exclusively to our delegates, a discounted bed and breakfast rate of £150.00 + VAT per person per room per night on Sunday, 20th November and Monday, 21st November 2011, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Book your conference accommodation at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole via the conference registration site. Accommodation at the Hilton is limited, so we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

Location & Directions
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel is right next to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), only 8 miles from central Birmingham and 10 minutes drive from Birmingham International Airport with easy access to the motorway network. There is excellent public transport facilities available to you in and around Birmingham (please see below). Furthermore, with consideration for the climate may we suggest that, where possible, you avoid travelling by car. By doing this you can also avoid any unnecessary car parking charges! Thank you.

Parking
Limited on-site car parking will be available at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel and we are pleased to be able to offer our delegates a reduced car parking rate of £5.00 per car per day, for the duration of the conference.
Please note that no car parking spaces are reserved and will be available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
Rail
Birmingham New Street Train Station From Birmingham New Street Station, take the train to Birmingham International Station. The journey normally takes around 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day. At Birmingham International Station, use the courtesy telephone to ask for the hotel bus to pick you up. The journey from Birmingham International Station to Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel takes 5 minutes by courtesy bus. The 24-hour service runs every 30 minutes. You can use the free telephone in the airport to call the hotel and ask for the bus to collect you.
Birmingham International Train Station
From Birmingham International railway station, you may also use the free telephone to arrange a collection to the hotel, by courtesy bus. The journey to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel takes approximately 5 minutes. The 24-hour service runs at 30-minute intervals.
Airports
Birmingham International Airport
Due to major security measures in force at Birmingham International Airport, they are no longer permitted to use the courtesy bus service direct to or from the airport. All hotel guests travelling from Birmingham airport should take the mono rail to Birmingham International railway station where the hotel will be able to collect you. You can use the free telephones in the airport or station to ask to be collected. The journey takes around 5 minutes and the courtesy bus runs every 30 minutes.
East Midlands Airport - From East Midlands Airport, taxis are available to take you directly to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. The journey normally takes around 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel forecourt.
