We are pleased to announce that Ray Wang from Constellation Research will again be a keynote speaker at this year’s User Group Conference. Ray has been one of our most popular speakers over the years, so we are delighted that he will be returning .
R “Ray” Wang is the Principal Analyst and CEO at Constellation Research, Inc. and the author of the popular enterprise software blog “A Software Insider’s Point of View”. He previously was a founding partner and research analyst for enterprise strategy at Altimeter Group. With viewership in the millions of page views a year, his blog provides insight into how disruptive technologies and new business models impact the enterprise.

It’s refreshing to see that SAP is backing the idea of in-memory computing (http://www.sap.com/about/newsroom/press-releases/press.epx?pressid=14907). It’s a simple fact that the amount of data never gets smaller: as a result, as organisations deal with more and more of it, so we all need more and faster ways to actually process and use that data.
