Combining SAP’s Digital Data with the increasing volumes of Digital Content SAP is great at managing data, but a company’s information combines data and content, such as images, documents, email and video to show the true picture of a customer, supplier, employee or asset.
Marcus Botterill from OpenText will present Combining SAP’s Digital Data with the increasing volumes of Digital Content.
According to IBM, “90 percent of the data that exists in the world today has been created in the last two years” and more than 80% of that is not data in a database, but unstructured content. This includes emails, documents, scanned images, photos and increasingly video. SAP is an excellent tool for managing data and driving efficient process, but it can all slow down if you cannot create or access content quickly.
OpenText has spent over 20 years working with SAP to solve this problem so that together we can deliver a complete picture of you Customers, Suppliers, Employees and key strategic assets from people to oil platforms.
This session will introduce you to the different types of content and where they are used in a number of SAP processes, and show how you can manage and access them quickly with the OpenText suite of SAP solutions.
