Surrey County Council and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council will be partaking in presentations on how SAP Fiori and UI5 custom applications are being deployed within their respective authorities to deliver rapid time-to-value solutions that connect people to Shared Services.
Tahiana Jefferis, Application Portfolio Manager at Surrey County Council will be presenting how Surrey County Council intend to leverage the recently released SAP My Travel and Expenses applications.
Dave Robinson, Head of Applications at Barnsley Metropolitan City Council will be presenting how they intend to leverage a suite of custom UI5 applications to support Time Management for external Agency workers as well as sweeping up legacy paper driven processes for council wide overtime claims.
Finally DJ Adams from Bluefin will discuss how local authorities can build plug-ins and templates to allow rapid business prototyping, with a real example of a template that enables authorities to start from a typical business idea starting point (a spreadsheet) and go to an app in just minutes.
Steve Rumsby from University of Warwick will present SAP Screen Personas The University of Warwick.
Steve will demonstrate how the University of Warwick used SAP Screen Personas to simplify ERP processes for staff in their Estate Management department. The simplified functionality includes Service Management, Finance and Purchasing.
Steve will also demonstrate the Personas product itself and how it is used to produce personalised screens, and discuss the skillsets and technical requirements for a Personas project.
Umar Khan &Tom Scaysbrook from SAP will deliver an SAP Fiori Update. This session is an overview of SAP Fiori and how it will impact our customers moving forward. As we are all aware, there is far too much complexity in the enterprise today. SAP’s mission is to simplify enterprise software with intuitive user interfaces for our customers.
