Brian Reid from Absoft Limited will present a Technical Roadmap: A Budgeting and Planning Tool. Strategic Principal Consultant Brian Reid will explore how a Technical Roadmap provides Public Sector IT departments with an invaluable planning and budgeting tool. The Roadmap opens up discussions with the wider organisation by providing a costed, 3-5 year proposed SAP landscape maintenance plan. The Roadmap also provides clarity on the various options available for the future maintenance of the SAP landscape - and ensures compliance with SAP support restrictions.
Sean O'Callaghan from SAP will be running an interactive session.SAP and Public Sector Customers – How we can Run Simple.
There have been a number of changes in focus, priorities and go to market strategies for SAP. This is sometimes difficult for a customer to see how this could impact them and how can a customer be involved in shaping future solutions and strategies. The purpose of this slot is to discuss what SAP’s future direction is and more importantly how SIGs and SAP work closely together. The outcome would be to agree a term of reference for future engagements, identify business challenges or areas for discussion at future meetings and to agree how to communicate and keep SIG members up to date with product strategy.
We will be including some Knowledge Sharing Sessions in the SIG.
At a time when there’s simply too much to do in local government and not enough time or resources to do it sharing experience is SO valuable which is why we are planning these knowledge sharing sessions.
Have you “been there, got the tee shirt” already or do you need to speak to someone who has?
We will be emailing you all to answer two simple questions in order to help us prepare for this session and we'll do the rest.
As you maybe aware we work closely with SAP on Influencing the software you our members use and utilise the SIGs to drive these improvements, bringing our members together in a shared cause.
