James Rickard from Atos will present Digital Factory of the Future - Using Idea to Performance (I2P) to accelerate product innovation cycles with SAP’s supply chain tool set.

Atos has extensive experience in manufacturing, helping their customers to maximise the potential of their existing manufacturing assets, systems and (most importantly) people using SAP’s idea to performance tool set which includes PLM, ME, MII, 3D VE and PPM.

You can benefit from this experience through an demonstration of the use of 3D printing to visualise the innovation process. Further, understand how you could develop a Roadmap to maximise the potential of your existing PLM, CAD, manufacturing execution and production assets.

Atos will describe some of the challenges, frustrations and successes that they have experienced as they have helped clients to realise the hidden potential within the four walls of their businesses.

Francesco Penza from SAP will present The Internet of Things: Mapping the value beyond the hype.

The Internet of Things offers companies great opportunities to transform their business operations, and many of them are looking into that right now. Leveraging sensor data and geo information for advanced real-time insights, and connecting physical devices for process automation allow companies getting to a next level of manufacturing and logistics excellence. See how companies can benefit from SAP’s IoT portfolio to transform their businesses.

Richard Symes from Scapa will present Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence. Scapa runs MII at 4 manufacturing sites and has done so for seven years. What MII does for Scapa.  How it works better than the ERP interface

The SIG will include a User Group Update and Problem Corner.
