Indigo Books & Music is a Canadian book and lifestyle chain with 218 stores across Canada. They have recently implemented SAP Forecasting and Replenishment (F&R) and will be presenting a case study of their implementation that was done in partnership with UCS Solutions. The project has been live and fully rolled out now for over a year now, which provides a good opportunity to reflect on the success of the journey. They will share some of the lessons learned and other perspectives regarding the way it has transformed the Forecasting and Replenishment function in their business. Some of the areas that the presentation will cover are:

  • Replenishment journey before SAP F&R
  • The project approach and lessons learned
  • Key capability that were implemented
  • Impact on “the day in the life” of a planner
  • Channel implications, e.g. On-Line Sales
  • Planning organisation structures
  • Business benefits achieved
  • Roadmap for the future

Robbie Watson from SAP will deliver a Fiori Update including a live demo.

Carl Streatfield from SAP will be presenting S4 HANA in retail organisations. Carl will go through the principles of S4 HANA, the roadmap, where we are along the journey and how the Simplified suite can benefit Retail organisations today.
