Richard Wilkins from Mars will be sharing their experience of developing an iOS app for maintenance technicians over SAP Mobility Platform. Developing a native iOS application to enable core Plant Maintenance processes.  The app is built over SAPs SMP. Will include sharing about device selection and challenges of mobile development versus traditional SAP bespoke development.

Mike Reaney will then explain how SABIC UK Petrochemicals have taken their first tentative steps towards mobile working on their manufacturing site using wireless handheld devices for Production Technicians.

Navdeep Singla from On Device Solutions ltd will present Mobile Device Strategy for Field Operations:

  • Analysis of various Device OSs for Field Operations
  • Cross Platform or Native Application Development
  • SAP applications and tool to help with Cross Platform & Native Development
