Rick Lambrecht frp, Olivehorse will present Optimise the Optimiser – An automated constraint planning approach in SAP APO

A good constraint plan aims to provide a feasible plan with best value for the supply chain. The benefits of the Optimiser constraint planning approach is to ensure that such a plan is created by the system. Using the Optimiser does not have to be complex if you follow some basic rules. Olivehorse demonstrate some of the key differences between a heuristics and optimiser planning run, and how you can maximise your value when your network is constrained.
