If like many organisations, you are frustrated at the mainly standard, readily structured reports available in SAP, you are most likely still using Excel to do a lot of the ‘heavy lifting’ reporting. Regardless of IT policy, it is still the go-to tool for most users to transform their data into something meaningful.
Static spreadsheets inherently create issues around
version control, complex cross referencing, master data references and
calculation errors, all of which is an audit risk. The responsibility for this
tends to fall between the Business and IT and can become a necessary evil.
In this webcast, hear from EKO – the largest commercial group in the Eastern European energy sector – on how they have overcome these issues using an SAP add-in from Excel4apps that means you can access live data in real-time from an Excel front-end. Your data remains in SAP, but you view it from Excel, so you achieve a genuine single version of the truth. Understand how EKO have solved many SAP process challenges to reduce financial reporting and consolidation time significantly, driving improved decision making. See a live demo of the management reporting capabilities in GL Wand, and EKO’s next steps with its transformation project.
