Simon Williams from itelligence UK will present the S/4 HANA Sanity Check.

Starting with S/4HANA 1511 and progressing through the 1610 release, SAP are making good on their promise to deliver a new Business Suite built to service the needs of the Digital Enterprise. But is everything as it seems? In this session Simon Williams will take you behind the hype to explore the current reality of the S/4HANA proposition. We will discuss the practicalities of assessing what S/4HANA means for your organisation and put this in the context of the adoption levels that are being reported globally. Simon will share conversion and implementation stories from the trenches, drawing on experiences gained by itelligence's global network of SAP S/4HANA Consultants.

Stuart Kahn from TOMY TOY's will discuss TOMY’s previous use of SAP ERP before moving on to describe how and why they made the decision to commit to the HANA Platform. The presentation will explain the business and technical reasons for considering S/4HANA as well as the timelines and sequencing that are all important for ensuring a successful project. Finally Stuart will provide an honest view of the progress and lesson learned so far.

Tim Cashmore & John Barnard from SAP will speak about S/4HANA Transition scenarios.

What are the options for moving to S/4HANA? Focus on migration scenarios to S/4HANA on premise or in HEC, and how this can be done without a significant business transformation. What are the preparation activities and what is the conversion process (SUM, DMO, Maintenance planner)? This is one of the sessions that SAP will be covering in more detail on the 28th March with discussions and insight into some experiences with ongoing projects.

Tim and John will then deliver an Introduction of Enterprise Architect Seminar on 28th March – S/4HANA Evolution not revolution.

SAP would like to create an Enterprise Architect community with customers in the UK and Ireland to be more proactive in addressing enterprise architecture subjects. Target audience: Enterprise Architects and IT decision makers in your organisations. SAP will explain the value to you in attending the first seminar: You will get an appreciation of the impact of an S/4HANA implementation on your core processes and what steps you can take now to get more detail so that you can move to S/4HANA earlier rather than later.

Are you wondering what impact an implementation of S/4HANA will have on your core business processes? Are you thinking that S/4HANA sounds like the right thing for you to cope with the challenges, that the ever increasing level of business digitalisation and the increasing requirements for automated and seamless integration to business networks, device networks and social networks, will pose to your existing business software implementation?

But are you worried that the implementation cost will be too high and more importantly are you thinking that the change management effort of implementing S/4HANA is simply too big an elephant to eat?

SAP will show in their seminar that the implementation of S/4HANA is not such a big transformation. On the other hand, if you want your business partners to take on the S/4HANA benefits at a more relaxed pace - you will be happy to learn that a technical conversion of your SAP ERP system will have limited impact on your daily processes. But with S/4HANA in place, you are ready to tackle the challenges of the future.
