Dawn Evans from Absoft Limited will be explaining how you can Streamline purchase requisition and approval processes for indirect spend.

Introducing a self-service procurement solution, which integrates with SAP, to streamline procure-to-pay processes for the public sector.

Absoft developed a premium web app which assisted a local authority to raise and approve purchase requisitions more effectively. Deployed on desktop or mobile devices, the custom solution uses an intuitive SAP UI5 interface and guided workflows to simplify procurement, approvals and goods receipt processes.

Absoft’s demonstration will show how the self-service procurement solution can:

  • Control workflows and custom approval processes
  • Increase compliance with procurement procedures
  • Replace SAP SRM for overhead procurement at a significantly lower TCO
  • Enhance the user experience (UX) which improves data quality
  • Work offline to support procurement teams 'on the go'
  • Operate on desktop, mobile and tablet devices
  • Reduce training cost and support effort
  • Decrease end-user training time

  • Spencer Griffiths Education Account Manager for Public Sector at SAP will present How do you keep your employees knowledgeable whilst budgets for learning are being cut?

This session will evolve around two Public Sector use cases, one of a local authority and the other of a central government organisation. Spencer will present how you can save time & money on training and what strategy you can adopt to provide a better experience to your citizens, reduce risk and support costs. This will be an open discussion based on real life examples.

Helen Borland from UKISUG will be delivering the latest user group news including an update on Jam and how can you maximise your membership.
