Jan Cook, Global Client Engagement Manager and James Cochlin, Principal Consultant at JNC, former Global Technical Lead for Deloitte’s SAP License Auditing Practice along with National Grid an SAP User, User Group Member and JNC customer will be presenting SAP Licensing Compliancy and Optimisation Strategies.

The event will focus on 4 key areas:

  • SAP Indirect Access Licensing – Identifying and managing risk, creating an action plan and getting audit ready.
  • The Truth about SAM tools – An impartial view. The limitations of software tools for SAP license management. Key things to consider when building a business case, and selecting the right tool.
  • Enterprise Licensing Strategy – Licensing challenges and opportunities around enterprise change with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, and divestment's.

Mark Bradley from National Grid will speak about their recent experiences of SAPs interpretation of their software licence rights during a major divestment which also included the use of an E Commerce portal.
