The itelligence team will share, demonstrate, and help you explore the intersection between SAP Applications, Analytics, and Big Data Architectures.

It is an unfortunate fact that for many SAP ERP customers, Analytics = Reporting = Extracts to Excel. The opportunities presented by the world of Big Data and Advanced Analytics can seem a world away from the daily reality of trying to satisfy the needs of an information starved organisation.

We will begin the day by exploring SAP’s evolving approach to addressing the core Business Intelligence requirements of its customers including the influence of S/4HANA and BW/4HANA.

We won’t stop there. Increasingly there is a need to look beyond SAP held data to deliver breakthrough insight. We will categorise the different types of data that you need to be prepared to work with, touching on concepts such as dusty data, dark data, and of course big data. These concepts will be supported by use cases, demonstrations and hands on exercises.

If you want to understand how you can exploit data of all types, in order to improve decision making within your organisation then this is the event for you. We will explain in practical terms how Big Data sources can be harvested and combined with SAP Transactional Data in order to support Advanced Analytics scenarios that can be used to drive tangible business opportunity.

Please note: If you wish to take part in the practical hands on sessions then you will need to being your own laptop to the session.
