The Evergreen journey to S/4HANA – wall to wall in a year! -

Steve Williams Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice at Waterstons, and Acting CIO for Evergreen. Evergreen Garden Care was bought out by Exponent Private Equity from the US company Scotts MiracleGro in 2017. Within 12 months, the business needs to put in wall to wall S4/HANA, replace 76 other systems, replace all of the infrastructure, establish a new IT team and keep the business running on existing platforms while doing it all. How hard can it be? Steve will run through how S4/HANA on prem was selected, why Itelligence were chosen, how Itelligence and client staff work together and how we move from project setup, through project operation, to support

itelligence Stephen Jerram will present on Planning for an S/4HANA conversion.

It was Benjamin Franklin who said “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” Wise words that resonate for all of us working in SAP Projects! You are no doubt aware of the capabilities of S/4HANA, and perhaps even the technical processes for adopting it. But are you aware of how much preparation work can be done to smooth the way? In this session Stephen Jerram will outline the critical planning and preparation activities that support you in making the right decisions about your S/4HANA projects.

Building a business case for S/4HANA – itelligence Presenter TBC

There is no doubt that adopting S/4HANA is a significant undertaking for an organisation. Our experience with Customers around the globe tells us that an IT led Technical proposal is a risky route to justifying an S/4HANA initiative. This session will discuss the basis for a strong business case for S/4HANA including the role of a living roadmap in identifying technical costs and sequencing business aligned benefits and deliverables.

SAP will also be in attendance with an S/4HANA update - details TBC.
