Ian Hunter from SAP will present Accrual Engine - functionality limitation and configuration pointers.This presentation will show what are Accurals and where are they needed? The Manual Accurals component in SAP enables you to calculate and post accruals in the General Ledger automatically. The Manual Accruals component is based on the Accruals Engine tool. Understand what the Accruals Engine does, how it is configured and more importantly, how it can help you.

Alister Evers from T-Mobile will present to the group Accrual/Deferral Engine for Real Estate at T-Mobile. This presentation will give a brief overview of the following:

  • Flexible Real Estate
  • Why use the accrual engine?
  • Using the accrual engine - Rent, Rates
  • Configuration options

Craig Dale from the SAP UK & Ireland User Group will present a 2007 Conference Review to the group.

Nick Dunnett and Rob Leach from ITESOFT UK willdeliver a presentation to the group Automated Invoice Processing into SAP. Marstons Brewery (previously Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries) a SAP User, have recently automated the processing of their 120,000 invoices into SAP. This presentation looks at:

  • Automating the invoice process - how does it work?
  • SAP Integration - how does it work?
  • Other data capture possibilities
  • Why Marstons decided to automate the process, the project and the benefits they have gained.

There will also be an Open Forum session where you are invited to bring your thoughts, problems or questions for discussion with the group regarding current challenges within SAP Finance.

George Mansfield will also discuss future developments of the Finance SIGas weLook Forward to 2008.
