On March 21st SAP will debut a new channel to market that will allow your customers to sell for you via their social channels.
It’s brand new and never been done before! This new channel has an easy, low infrastructure impact starting point.
Social commerce is a simple concept that allows customers to get points by letting their social network access a retailer shopping basket via a social page. For you, the retailer, it’s a new channel and for the customer they can get on the ladder to earnings just like all those famous vloggers and influencers.
So why hasn’t anyone done this yet? That’s because only SAP working with CapGemini has the technology that can do it. What’s better is that it’s not the massive undertaking that you might think. It’s a very light impact to a retailers infrastructure to get started. Even Better, the investment level to get on the journey is relatively minimal. Social Commerce is coming and you only need to check out what China is doing to believe it’s true. Either retailers open up this new channel or they’ll be playing catch up while others add this to their channel mix. The future is now so let’s get going: grow revenue while delighting customers together.
George Lawrie from the analysts Forrester will be sharing some insights on why Social Commerce is the key to your own innovation and how this is already impacting the market place. He will be with us all day joining us through the showcases and networking sessions.
Expect to be challenged, to share and enjoy an enlightening day!
