Gareth Kirkham and Gabriele Fiata from SAP will present Security considerations for hybrid environment integration.

In 2018 the Enterprise Architect SIG looked at Integration introducing the SAP CIO Guide and integration patterns. For the February 2019 SIG we will focus on the security aspects of integration. Following on from the CIO guide integration patterns: Cloud2OP, OP2OP, Cloud2Cloud; how can SAP GRC and SAP Cloud Platform help with Identity & Authentication management and User provisioning. As part of the OP2Cloud pattern we will look at a specific customer integration scenario where they would like to obfuscate data to the cloud for testing purposes, for ERP and CRM.

Learn how RS Components, supported by SNP, protected their sensitive data as part of moving to the Cloud.

Understand how RS Components protected their sensitive data as part of an On-Premise to Cloud project using SNP Data Provisioning & Masking solution (DPM). RS will highlight the key principles, scope and approach of data masking used during their project. SNP will emphasise the importance of an efficient data masking approach for protecting personal and commercially sensitive data, helping companies to avoid GDPR compliance penalties and damaging data leaks. In addition you will learn how the same solution can be used to reduce the SAP data footprint and thus cost of running an SAP estate in the cloud.

The day will include:

  • Overview of SAP GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance)
  • Overview of SAP Cloud Platform security
  • Use case 1: User provisioning lifecycle management
  • Use case 2: SCP application extension
