John Stevens of SAP will deliver The Case for PP/DS. This presentation will compare the functionality of APO PP/DS and ECC (R/3) PP, discuss the differences and point out the key drivers that lead to the use of PP/DS over ECC PP.
Jason Howell of Honeywell will deliver MK Electric Goes Electronic, discussing how Honeywell improved their order entry process from a manual process to an electronic process without impacting their customers. They alsoimproved the cycle times of order entry and the retrieval of purchase orders. How with an automated document process solution Honeywell were able to remove 98% of their manual paper based order entry processes and reduce the order entry time down from 2 hours 30 minutes to an average of 38 minutes from receipt of the document.
