Mark Burley and Seb Hole will present Sunseekers SAP Solution.
The Sunseeker SAP solution explained, the modules used, pain points, integration points etc. The use of Project Systems for the planning and manufacture of large luxury motor yachts. Areas Sunseeker plan to improve on with projects either running or planned in the next couple of years.
Graeme McNaught from Leonardo MW Ltd will deliver their S/4 HANA Implementation Update.
Richard Wood from Safran Software will present Making Ships – Get the most out of SAP PS with SAFRAN scheduling for complex manufacturing.
Navantia is a major defence contractor manufacturing all types of submarine and surface vessels for many international public and commercial organisations. They were constrained for many years by inconsistent and localised planning in different factories and project delivery processes, with no common delivery software platform. They implemented SAP, but found a need to introduce a separate system for complex schedule optimization, but it ahd to be seamlessly integrated and supportive of PS. They were a committed SAP PS user and are now on the way to achieving a full optimised and effective single delivery process using a combination of PS and Safran Software. This is their story.
The day will include a fantastic chance to visit the shipyards where the boats are moulded, fitted out by skilled tradesman/women and tested prior to customer handover. Hopefully be able to get on to a boat and take a look inside, will not able to go to sea though.
