Matt Riches & Aninda Roy from Agility Works will present Accelerate S/4HANA deployment into the cloud.
Leverage the simplicity of S/4HANA Cloud with the flexibility of SAP Cloud Platform to accelerate S/4HANA implementation for universities and reduce the total cost of ownership
Universities, like any other institutions, have a myriad of challenges including the effective management of a complex workforce, the compliant procurement of goods and services, the management of asset intensive campuses and accommodation of demanding stakeholders.
Digitasation should offer a simple solution, one that is both cost effective, meets the needs of todays challenges and which is also capable of adapting with future requirements.
AgilityWorks will demonstrate how universities can use SAP S/4HANA Cloud to drive standardisation in commoditised processes whilst also leveraging SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) to build industry specific agile developments which fulfil university specific functionality gaps and enable organisations to keep pace with future changes.
Therefore whilst SAP S/4HANA Cloud will provide the ‘core’ back office functionality SCP will provide universities with the freedom to deploy specific solutions to support the changing key roles of staff, changing demographics and evolving needs of the organization without the need to compromise the standard digital core. Cost for both support and innovation will sharply reduce, improving TCO and ensuring that universities will have the necessary bandwidth and technological capabilities to support the future evolution of the institution.
Continuing on from the last HERSIG Model University Session, Leighton Joskey will deliver a second part 2 the workshop. He will demonstrate a way of displaying the model, and opportunities for making it useful to HERSIG members – letting them easily show how their institution compares to the model. At that point we will open up the workshop to each member institution to talk through how they might like to use it, what they would want from the model, and how it could support our wider ambitions of a shared understanding of HE institution’s SAP use and a platform for cooperation and collaboration and information sharing.
