Gary Still from Rapid ERP will present The quest for business process efficiency in SAP. Where and how to begin…

In the midst of an impending Brexit and challenges of an S/4HANA migration on the horizon, it is more essential than ever for organisations to get the most out of their SAP systems, to quickly understand how well they are being used and how and where process improvements can be made.

SAP Solution Manager and its Business Process Analytics and Improvement capabilities is the solution you have been looking for. It offers an extensive range of analytical and monitoring tools designed to directly appeal to business managers, business experts and business end users alike who have a vested interest in making SAP work for them. With new business process modelling and visualisation tools, the 1,200+ out-of-the-box metrics allow business users for the first time to “see”, “improve” and “control” their core SAP business processes, without the need to invest in additional and often expensive software tooling. It gives them that instant global transparency they need to quickly identify process inefficiencies and non- compliance across an entire organisation, but in a way that encourages closer cooperation between management and operations in the identification and resolution of issues to achieve sustainable and continuous improvement.

This session will provide you with the confidence to embark on your process improvement journey quickly and cost effectively.

David Cull & Chris Soden from SAP will deliver a SolMan product update.

There has been headline news on the SAP Support Launchpad on the versions of SolMan needed to avoid loss of some functionality in 2020; this session will summarise why the change, the required action and some paths. This session will also include a short Q&A session and information of the next SolMan Roadshow.

Gary Still from Rapid ERP will deliver a Business Process Analytics and Improvement -Demonstration & Q&A Session:

A demonstration of the business process analytical capabilities of SAP Solution Manager 7.2. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and also try both this and other ALM functionality out for yourself at one of our demo stations.

Tin Sandhu, Sanctuary Group & Gavin Richardson, Rapid ERP will present The versatility of SAP Solution Manager – a ‘real world’ report by the Sanctuary Group.

SAP Solution Manager has a wealth of functionality across multiple topic areas but knowing which can provide value in the real-world is often a challenge. Tin Sandhu from the Sanctuary Group will provide an insight into how they are making use of the available functions for a joined-up approach to SAP Application Lifecycle Management. Covering their initial implementation of Change Request Management (ChaRM) and Technical Monitoring, through to more recent use cases of Process Management and Test Automation; you will learn how their ALM roadmap has evolved, the benefits realised, key lessons learnt and have an opportunity to ask questions for an impartial, real world review.

Neil Start from Rapid ERP will also present SAP Solution Manager 7.2 for SAP S/4 HANA – Preparation, Implementation and Beyond!

Whatever stage of your SAP S/4HANA journey - whether you are contemplating, planning, or have embarked upon a project – SAP Solution Manager 7.2 contains valuable companion functionality to help streamline the entire process. From preparation checks, including Custom Code and Data Volume Management, through the embedded SAP Activate Methodology and Best Practice content, to a full-blown process and document repository with agile project management tools, via SAP Focused Build. This session will guide you on the essential components and explain how two of our current customers have adopted the various tools throughout their ongoing projects and how they are now setting the scene for productive operation.
