Gary Kwei from Mandant Solutions will be presenting Making Tax Digital, The MATRIX alternative solution for SAP customers -automated, HMRC certified & cost effective
A demonstration of MANDANT’s SAP Standard Solution (called MATRIX) – that enables VAT submissions to HMRC to be made directly from your SAP ECC or S/4HANA system using completely standard SAP functionality.
The solution is built using Mandant’s proven MATRIX SAP integration platform, which has been used and trusted by many SAP customers for many years to submit their RTI payroll PAYE data to HMRC, and is now certified for Making Tax Digital with HMRC with an increasing number of customers choosing this option.
The demo will primarily focus on the SAP VAT Report – the solution uses the standard SAP VAT transaction S_ALR_87012357 to determine and generate the VAT return values for a given accounting period:
The Mandant MTD solution demo will take the standard calculated UK VAT Return values and send this information securely from a ECC6/S/4HANA system via the SAP PI middleware to HMRC using the ‘Making Tax Digital’ APIs • Confirmation – once the information has been successfully sent to HMRC a “success confirmation” will be received in ECC6.
Implementation effort, timescales and planning will also be covered in this session, and the Mandant team will also discuss the various “not so obvious” considerations and “gotchas” that all SAP customers will need to consider regardless of how they intend to implement this regulatory requirement.
