Mark Bodley from Atos Origin will deliver a presentation on Integrated Business Planning, (Aligning Strategic, Financial and Operations Planning). For many years businesses have battled against an inability to see, immediately, the impact that a change in one area of the business will have on another. In this session we look at the tools available within the new improved SAP offerings and how these can help in addressing the issue. The session will cover the tools available for Strategy Management, Financial Planning and Sales and Operations Planning as well as the ability to consolidate in an increasingly global economy. The session will also look at how the tools can be linked to reconnect operational planning with financial and strategic plans.

This presentation will take a look at how implementing SAP in a service industry can throw up a different set of challenges to implementing in a manufacturing industry. In this session we look at the challenges faced by Atos Origin when implementing SAP, with particular reference to Resource Related Billing, Accounting for Work In Progress, Timesheet entry, Accounting for Expense and Travel, Integration with HR systems and general Administration of the system.
