Last year we introduced a new Document and Data Management event to our calendar and after listening to our members we have introduced this as a new SIG for 2020.

Guy Spaven from SAP will present SAP Document Management, what is available?

In this session you will learn about SAP Document Management options for SAP ECC and S/4HANA. SAP DMS (Document Management System) is a cross application component of SAP that provides robust document, content and digital asset management capabilities. SAP Document Management System (DMS) for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On Premise is a strong offering under the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) umbrella. This session will also discuss other ECM products such as SAP Cloud Platform and OpenText and the future outlook in this space.

Nick Parkin from Proceed Group will present Easing the journey to SAP S/4HANA and/or The Cloud

Data is a critical part of an SAP S/4HANA implementation and/or a migration to The Cloud, it fuels the processes that run your business. A move to S/4HANA must include a data management strategy, to ensure business obsolete data is not migrated and any legacy data is decommissioned or archived in a compliant manner.

We are running two round table discussions at the event one focussing on document management and the other on data management.

The discussions will be to understand what our common issues are within these areas, what are we seeing within our organisations that are impacting on our operational effectiveness, have others had these issues and what are the thoughts of the users and experts in the room to overcome or improve these issues.
