Barbara R. O’Cain, Global Executive Advisor within SuccessFactors will present Data Protection for HR & Talent.

Around the globe we have seen an explosion of complex data security laws, the most noteworthy being the recent GDPR. There is tremendous risk and potential exposure for data protection compliance breaches, especially as country regulatory landscapes continually shift and change. The need to be in regulatory compliance with local data privacy rules and regulations is now essential, not only by law, but as a matter of best business practice; it is a critical component to any organisation's HR and risk management strategy. CHROs are feeling the pressure from their C-Suite, boards of directors, risk management directors and security leaders to assure that personal data privacy is protected in a compliant and manageable fashion. The realisation by HR leaders that their organisation now has to be compliant with this and other serious new data privacy laws can seem impossible. However, a closer examination of these regulations shows they share many similarities and that compliance with GDPR can get them into alignment with the requirements of other data privacy regulations applicable to their organisation. Learn how the data protection features of SAP SuccessFactors help you respond quickly and accurately to personal data requests and keep your organisation up to date on critical legal and regulatory workforce requirements - regardless of your location in the world. With a labour and employment attorney, psychologist, and former global CHRO, we will look at some very practical tips and discuss not only how SAP SuccessFactors helps uniquely safeguard your organisation against data regulatory noncompliance but in so doing also helps strengthen the culture and protect against compliance breaches and employment litigation.

Stephen Millard from Zalaris UK will present SuccessFactors Learning - Mind the Gap.

A look back at the SuccessFactors Learning’s developments in 2019 and those upcoming in 2020, along with an exploration of how customers are growing their learning capabilities through SuccessFactors Learning features and enhancements.

“An organisation's ability to learn, and translate that learning into action rapidly, is the ultimate competitive advantage” – Jack Welch

2019 was a relatively fallow year for the SuccessFactors Learning system, but there were changes, and 2020 promises to reap the benefits of the work that has been going on behind the scenes. But what do these changes mean for your organisation, and where can SuccessFactors support the development of your learning strategy?

In this session, Zalaris look back to what 2019 did give us before looking at what we can expect to see in 2020. With that background in place Zalaris will then take a wider look at how this will potentially impact customers and the sorts of areas that customers are already beginning to exploit to take their learning offerings to the next level.

We will be running two breakouts at the event:

Breakout Groups 1 – Learning with Stephen Millard, Zalaris UK

Breakout Groups 2 – EC, ECP, Recruitment and OnBoarding, Teresa Thieme and Gregory Delpech from SAP

Esther Zaccarelli from The University of Warwick will present The Warwick Journey
