Today, many SAP customers running solutions such as SAP APO want to understand which solution set SAP recommends to address their new challenges. We’ll take you through the journey of how the ‘close to execution’ elements of APO, ie PP/DS and GATP, move into the S/4 core, while the traditional planning elements i.e. Demand, Supply and Inventory, move to IBP. Based on a customer use case of a large multinational technology company we will highlight the benefits of this approach, as well as sharing some key roadmap elements and implementation considerations.
Speaker: Andrew Craven (SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect)
Andrew has been working in the SAP ecosystem for over 20 years and has been specialising in SAP’s Supply Chain solutions APO and IBP since 2001 and 2012 respectively.
