David Moody from BAE Systems will present an Introduction to BAE Systems Integrated System Technologies (Insyte). This session will give abriefoverview of theInsyte business, its products and markets.

This will be followed by an Open Forum Discussion on ECC 5/6.

Jill Wright and Hilary Mason from Atos Origin will be joined by Bob Janes from Vion to do a presentation on SAP Upgrades and Migration to New General Ledger. Vion and Atos Origin share their experiences of upgrading VionsSAP system and subsequently migrating the general ledger to SAPs New General Ledger. The session will include a discussion of theplanning and implementation approach used as well as the businessbenefits that can be derived from using the New General Ledger.

Craig Dale from the SAP User Group will give a 2009 Conference Update.

There will also be an Open Session on New General Ledger after lunch.

Following this Ann Hughes from Runciman Hughes Associates will deliver a presentationon VAT Package 2010 - New VAT rules for taxation of services. The VAT package was adopted by the EU in 2008 to modernise andsimplify the current rules relating to cross-border supplies of servicesand to the recovery of VAT on purchases made in EU countries. Like many simplifications introduced by the EU, there will be changes required to systems and working practices to accommodate the new rules. During this session we will go through the new rules to ensure that the appropriate changes are made in SAP by the implementation date of 1 January 2010.

Finally there will be an opportunity for you to discuss the VAT Presentation atourOpen Forum Session.
