Enabling the delivery of strategic sustainability ambitions will ensure long term growth and value for our customers as well as safe, compliant and transparent performance to all stakeholders, including investors. Multiple industries are shifting to embrace systemic change. SAP and partners have a key role in enabling this change.

During this SAP event you will hear leading perspectives from customers, industries, partners, government and SAP on how sustainability changes from ambition into reality.

The event will take place over two days and in two parts. You can view the agenda overview and more details here.

Day 1 will focus on Climate Action.

Contribute to a zero carbon economy by reducing your environmental footprint.

Consequences of climate change present a grave risk to society. All industries are under new pressures to understand and manage the footprint of products and services as they accumulate along value chains. This has been a traditional weakness in corporate carbon management strategies, as it is difficult to understand, analyse and optimise. However, this transparency is essential to take accountability and action for mitigating and managing the emerging risk and opportunities of low carbon products and services.

Day 2 will focus on Circular Economy.

Take action towards a circular economy, by managing your limited resources productively.

Every year, we use more resources than our planet can regenerate. During the 20th century, the use of natural resources increased at nearly double the rate of population growth and with global population due to increase by another billion within the next ten years, we will soon need two planets to meet those basic human needs. Circular economy is the reimagined business process that collaboratively drives increased profitability while addressing global planetary challenges such as climate change and the ocean plastics crisis.
