THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON ZOOM
The Developers SIG has been set up to address the ever-increasing focus on technology and developers in the world of SAP and indeed wider enterprise IT.
SAP has recently introduced several innovations for developers who work with SAP business data. This SIG will focus on two of these innovations: SAP Graph and SAP AppGyver.
SAP development experts will introduce you to these two topics, and lead you through an interactive hands-on session, in which participants will have the opportunity and experience to effectively create the same application twice:
Introduction to SAP Graph
SAP Graph is a new, unified API for SAP, using modern, open standards. SAP Graph lets you simply access your business data as a single semantically connected data graph, spanning the suite of SAP products. Targeting SAP's ecosystem of developers and customers, SAP Graph's one API and Business Data Graph reduce the cost and complexity of creating and deploying reusable extension applications.
Introduction to SAP AppGyver
SAP AppGyver offers a no-code app development platform that creates applications for the Web and for native mobile use. It has a powerful visual development environment that is extraordinarily user-friendly. It allows business users without prior coding experience to build sophisticated applications that work seamlessly across all operating systems – all without writing a single line of code. On the other hand, professional developers will enjoy a significant boost in productivity by being able to work on the higher abstraction levels provided by the visual tooling.
Ian Stubbings, your Developers SIG Chair and Platform Engineering Lead from bp will provide an update from his attendance at the Meet the Developers, where he met and had discussions with SAP experts.
