Kevin Heard from Delaware UK and Benoit de Borman from TCR will present Introduction to the benefits of the Field Service Management (FSM) solution from SAP and a real use case illustration

At a time like this, supporting customers, interacting with field workers and maximizing the value from field resources is more important than ever.

This solution supports real-time Field Service Operations, from customer interaction to central planning, scheduling and supervisor oversight to technician and work execution, ending with billing and settlement relating to the service delivered according to contractual conditions. This is a mobility enabled and driven solution.

The session will cover the following topics in the context of a real use-case with our client, TCR:

  • SAP FSM Overview and Architecture
  • Solution and Process overview for TCR and Integration to back-end systems
  • SAP and TCR Roadmap for FSM

Richard Wilkins from Mars IS will discuss the Customer Influence Initiative

In 2016 SAP launched a Customer Influence initiative for EAM. Due to the very large number of qualified improvement ideas submitted it was agreed to substantially increase the scope. A guiding board was established with representatives of multiple countries’ user groups including UKISUG. Development occurred in waves. The final delivery call took place in March this year and the activity is now formally closed. In this session Richard will provide an overview of the results.

Duncan Hicks from Alstom will discuss an introduction to the use of Strategy transaction within Plant Maintenance & Customer Services in SAP ECC covering their purpose and some use cases i.e. periodic exams, monthly tasks etc.

Mariella Stapylton-Smith & Guy Spaven from SAP will present The evolution of the maintenance user interface between ECC and S/4HANA

This session will cover some of the key evolutions of SAP Plant Maintenance by showcasing the look, feel and functionality of the transactions in S/4 HANA in comparison to ECC. We will deep-dive into how Fiori provides a seamless user experience to enhance the plant maintenance process. Additionally we will cover how SAP S/4HANA innovations in Asset Management enables the organization to launch and manage various maintenance strategies to optimize the performance and gain new insights with reporting capabilities.
