This presentation highlights the electronic device history (eDHR) solution that is being used for CareFusions Infusion and Dispensing business. The solution uses standard functionality from the SAP ERP application, as well as extensive use of bar coding and two-way integration to test equipment and device data over an infrared port (IR). This session discusses the global design that was used to incorporate the unique needs of CareFusion International in the U.K. as well as a following implementation at U.S. operations in San Diego.
