Cari Cardew from SAP will deliver aoverview on E, H & S. SAPs sustainability solutions enable organisations to holistically manage sustainable operations and provide new business opportunities. Thissession will cover the various sustainability challenges for companies: health and safety of employees, carbon management and reporting, complying with hazardous substance regulations and recycling initiatives. We will look at how these challenges are not only addressed by SAP EHSM, SAP Carbon Impact and SAP Recycling Admin but can increase profitability by reducing business risk and give companies a competitive advantage over their peers.

Ian Scott from SAP will present to the group The Business Case for bringing Customs in-house. SAP Global Trade Services allows organisations to gain control of their customs and compliance processes. Many organisations assume that outsourcing customs to a 3PL allows them to forget their obligations, both legally and to their financial efficiency. This session will discuss the costs and benefits of managing your own Import/Export processes.

This will be followed by a Problem Corner where you can bring your thoughts, problems or questions for discussion with the group.

Craig Dale from the SAP User Group willdeliver a 2009 Conference Review.

Simon Bishop, SIG Co-Chair, will present a session on Sales and Distribution at the RNLI. A strange use of consignment stock at customers and how to sell withoutany money changing hands! The session attempts to describe how the Royal National Lifeboat Institution controls the issue and return of Fundraising stock to Fundraising branches and how stock is issued for sale in its shops.

Cassa Khanfrom Crossgate will give a presentation on Driving greater value from your Supply Chain. The presentation will position Crossgate's innovative solution for partner integration into SAP based supply chains. Crossgate will explain how customers can drive a much more flexible and cost effective way of managing, measuring and effecting change across their supplier base through an 'On-Demand B2B model'.
