This event will be held in the Pearce Suite of the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22 and will be sponsored by SU53 Solutions.
The SAP solution suites are running in some of the most complex and powerful enterprises in the world. They are also operating in small, local organisations and all sizes in between. Universally, the same security challenges have to be met: is user provisioning compliant with audit requirements? Are security risks minimised and mitigated? Are the outsourced service provider’s processes and procedures independently compliant?
Two customers have tales to tell of their experiences of implementing GRC and su53 Solutions has some information to share about “The GRC Journey and the new directions that SAP are taking with their GRC solutions, which come straight from the recent GRC2010 conference in Orlando.
These presentations will be of interest to those in Competency Centres, IT, Finance and Audit, who have anything to do with users and access control, and risk management in the IT systems.
Liz Morton from su53 Solutions will present GRC, CUP, CCM – what’s it all about? This session will give an overview of the terminology encountered in GRC and talk about the journey an organisation takes through its user compliance adoption. Together with a look at the GRC maturity curve and encourage a group discussion on where people think they are on their own GRC journeys.
Bernie Callaghan from Kingspan will deliver Implementing GRC – the easy way? Kingspan took the decision to implement Access Control as part of its implementation of a new ERP system in one of its businesses, rather than leave it as a separate project afterwards. This presentation points out the benefits of taking that approach and also gives some valuable lessons learned about the Access Control module.
Philip Adams, SIG Chair will give a 2010 Conference Update and Enterprise Support Update.
Unilever will present a session on Rolling Access Control out around the world. Unilever is a global brand with revenues of EUR40bn and one of Europe’s largest businesses. This presentation looks at the background to Unilever’s business operations and risk management challenges and how SAP GRC Access Controls was implemented across 17 European countries to support improved SOX compliance and to reduce the costs of effective risk management.
Robin Roy from su53 Solutions will present to the group What’s new from GRC2010 Orlando? The keynote speakers at the world’s largest SAP GRC forum gave an insight into the direction that SAP is taking with governance and other key business initiatives. Robin will give a summary of what he learned while he was out there.
This will be followed by a Networking and Q & A session.
