This presentation will look at sourcing & procurement technology, such as SAP’s SRM product, can deliver great ROIs, by helping procurement departments negotiate better deals, and by increasing spend visibility and compliance. However, great results aren’t success isn’t guaranteed – many companies have bought SRM but never implemented it, or have struggled to get adequate user and supplier adoption. So what are the best practices? Should you use SRM or choose a best-of-breed alternative? What are the secrets for maximizing adoption? Should you create your own supplier portal or join a marketplace community? This session will help you answer these questions. Duncan Jones of Forrester Research is one of Europe’s leading ePurchasing technology analysts and an entertaining and informative speaker, so this session will be of immense value for anyone considering investing in or expanding their use of SAP’s SRM, eSourcing and CLM products.
Ben England from Bentley Motors will be giving a presentation regarding Warehouse Management and why they chose to blend SAP and INVAR systems. Bentley Motors have implemented a fully automated warehouse for its smaller parts. This was achieved via a blend of SAP Warehouse Management and specially designed WM control system from INVAR systems.
