This event is taking place on the 4th October and will be hosted at SAP UK ltd, Clockhouse Place, Nr Heathrow. The SIG is being sponsored by NorthgateArinso. The meeting will be focussed around ESS/MSS.
Michelle Dawkins from SAP will present SAP HR Service Delivery. This presentation will provide an overview of the latest functionality for Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service, and an introduction to the Shared Service Framework. In addition the presentation will look at how HR Administrators can control and manage HR processes through the SAP Portal.
NorthgateArinso will be discussing Centrica's ESS/MSS project. Centrica are building a SAP ESS/MSS solution alongside NorthgateArinso (NGA) to replace the current bespoke solution. The main driver for this project is to implement SAP standard when possible and to maintain existing functionality. Although this project is in its infancy the look and feel mock ups of the ESS/MSS solution using standard SAP technology which has been shown to a wider business audience in Centrica and has been very well accepted. The new SAP ESS/MSS solution will be delivered by NGA using the Agile methodology – the presentation will explain why this is an advantage over a traditional Waterfall delivery by keeping the business engaged throughout the project. The speaker will be confirmed very soon.
Rebecca Nuttley from E.ON UK will discuss E.ON's experiences. Within this presentation Rebecca will talk about:
- Overview of EON
- Brief overview of our current Changing HR Programme
- Current SAP functionality we use – an overview of their ESS/MSS.
- Future plans for upgrades etc
Craig Dale from UK & Ireland SAP User Group will speak about How you can influence SAP. Craig will talk about SAP's new customer connection and show you the benefits of the UK & Ireland SAP User Group Confernence 2011.
At the end of the day, the SIG will have an Open Discussion. This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask members if they have experienced any issues you may be facing, or even if your company are considering a new implementation but would like to hear about experiences.
