Continuous Improvement is the new Development Requests process, if you have ever been involved in the sending of a development request to SAP you may know it can take up to 3 years for the request to be implemented. Well with the Continuous Improvement SAP are looking to implement your process within 8 months! It is a member-driven approach which allows our members to interact with each other and discuss their continuous improvement requests through the Ideaplace. Ideaplace is a section on the SAP website which allows all registered members from the User Group to post a continuous improvement request under a topic that SAP will be looking into. This is a very interactive way of improving SAP for you but it requires your input as much as SAPs.

On Monday 4th April  at 3pm, we will have the kick off call with SAP to discuss the sub topics that will be developed in the PLM modules.

Below are the sub-topics what will be discussed:

  • GSS, Guided Structure Synchronization - Engineering-view and Manufacturing-view
  • Usability of Web-UI - Focus Browser based UI
  • PPM, Portfolio and Project Management - Portfolio-Management and cProjects.
  • CAD - Integration SAP PLM (BOM and functional structure) and several CAD-Systems

If any of the topics interest you, you can take part in an initial call, without any commitment

Once you have booked your place, you will receive a call by Monday lunchtime with the log in details to join the call
