The theme of this SIG is Planning and Scheduling.

Guy Spaven from SAP will present NWBC and other Plant Maintenance interfaces. Netweaver Business Client “from the ground up.  A presentation of NWBC showing how roles are created, powerlists etc. A review of other interfaces including Plant Maintenance Business Packages for portal, Plant Maintenance screens delivered with the latest enhancement packs, side panels etc.

Guy Spaven will also present Multi Resource Scheduling. An overview and demonstration of MRS.

Duncan Hicks from Bombardier Transportation UK Ltd will deliver the session Maintenance Planning within BT. Duncan will give an explanation of how SAP is used within the UK Services Division of Bombardier Transportation to plan maintenance material requirements for long term rail fleet maintenance contracts.

Mike Reaney from SABIC will present Maintenance Planning and Scheduling at SABIC UK Petrochemicals:

  • Background and History
  • Current Methodology
  • Options for SAP interfacing with other systems
  • Future Developments

Mike Reaney will deliver a Customer Connection update and discussion on improvement ideas.
