Andrew Fox from Itelligence will present What is a dashboard really and how to select the right SAP tool for the job. When different people use the term “dashboard they often mean different things. This session looks at some of the different things people mean by “dashboard and looks at the SAP technology most appropriate to each.
 
We are working with SAP to confirm the following 2sessions:
 
Xcelsius Statement of Direction, Project Zen and the rise of HTML5
SAP recently published their Dashboarding Statement of Direction (SOD) which covered the future of Xcelsius/SAP Dashboards and introduced a new dashboarding tool codenamed “Zen. In this session SAP will look at the contents of the SOD and provide some answers to frequently asked questions.
 
What is SAP Visual Intelligence
Visual Intelligence is a desktop new tool from SAP based on the Explorer technology. This session will look the features of Visual Intelligence, explain who this tool is aimed at and show a demonstration of it in action.
 
Donald MacCormick from Antivia will deliver the session Why project Zen is another signpost on the road to BI Applications. As a follow-on to the BI Apps presentation at the last SIG, this session will look at the roadmap for Zen and explain how it further cements BI Applications as the future of dashboards.
