This SIG will be held at Boots and sponsored by Atos.

Daniel Wilde and/or Sean Littlefair from Atos will present Viable options for BIG Data with SAP solutions. This session will explore the exponential growth in data both structured and unstructured and will look at the SAP infrastructure and solutions that can support exploration and discovery in ways we have not been able to do before.

Atos will provide an overview of BIG data and why CxO are now saying insight and intelligence are there number one priority and why they feel there are tangible business values to seeing data on the balance sheet.

They will also explore how organisation can create cost effective solutions without impacting their current infrastructure and provide insight to information anytime, anyplace anywhere.

Phil Creek from Boots The Chemist and Sean Littlefair from Atos will discuss How we successfully implemented SAP Business Objects 4.0 over SAP Business Warehouse 7.3. As part of a major IT transformation programme, Boots implemented new versions of SAP.  The programme included implementing SAP Business Objects 4.0 reporting on top of a new SAP Business Warehouse 7.3. The presentation covers the lessons learnt and the actions taken to achieve a successful implementation.
