James Willis will look at some of the new SAP Mobile Apps and HANA solutions for Financial Departments.

Beyond the overview of what’s available we will be looking at:

1. The new app SAP Real Spend which bring Management Reporting from SAPERP onto your handheld.

2.SAP Liquidity planning on HANA - a new solution which facilities the Long Term Cash and Liquidity planning process for businesses.

Kate Evans from Worcestershire County Council & James Willis from SAP will present Worcestershire County Council and AUDDIS. Worcestershire County Council engaged directly with SAP, working with the SAP Consultant who developed their AUDDIS solution.  The Paperless Direct Debit solution provides full lifecycle management for Direct Debit instructions. The solution which is held within SAP allows WCC to manage the setting up of new Direct Debit mandates, cancellations and amendments as well as deal with any Direct Debit failures by posting FI documents directly into SAP.  Direct Debit details are held against the Customer Master Record within SAP, improving reporting and reducing the paper trail.
Amanda Byrne from Worcestershire County Council will deliver a session on SAP and the Social Network. There are many web sites and social forums available to the end user to obtain information, find solutions to problems and connect with other users from the SAP world.  In this session we take a look at some of the options available and the benefits of getting connected.

Adam Cundell will deliver an SAP User Group Update.

Conor Mullaney from Open Text will present Building an optimised purchase to pay process using SAP technology. Maximising Automation & Systems. Next-generation accounts payable - leveraging your core SAP ERP and building fully integrated, automated and streamlined processes across the entire P2P area. Too many companies in the past deployed discrete technology solutions as the way to solve their account payable (AP) issues. Most organisations did see some improvement in parts of the process but many moved efforts from one area to another. Those companies who are the highest on the maturity curve are leveraging next-generation AP practices that take a more integrated, end-to-end process-orientated approach to ensure that the entire process is highly efficient and companies leverage integrated technology to their SAP(r) ERP for improved results.

This informative workshop will outline:

*The business case for moving to next-generation AP practices
*Benchmark yourself - take a readiness survey
*Share best practices and learn how to build a roadmap for success
*How to turn accounts payable into a profit centre
*Hear from SAP(r) experts how you can get more value from your SAP(r) investment
*Hear how other leading companies have adopted best practices
