Hear customer experiences from Worcestershire County Council, British American Tabacco, BBC and more…

Daniel Goersch from British American Tobacco will present Integrated Financial Planning with SAP BPC – Challenges and Opportunities. In this session,Daniel will discuss BAT's journey towards implementing a global BPC solution for financial consolidation and forecasting on the back of a global single-instance ERP upgrade program at BAT. The session includes a short demo of their planning solution, the capabilities of BPC, and some of the innovative features BAT have implemented.

Simon Griffiths from BBC will deliver Transforming Management Information – The BBC experience. The need for accurate and timely information is a business given. However, perhaps what is less understood is the need to ensure that users actively engage with business information. This presentation will look at how the BBC has addressed this issue, using SAP Business Objects, by focussing on the end to end user experience, starting with the MI development process through to ensuring lasting day to day user engagement.

Amanda Byrne from Worcestershire County Council will be delivering her own experience of using SAP Query in Worcestershire County Council. From Exception Reporting, to Customer statements.  Managing the diary to automatic clearing.  Payroll reconciliation to Master Data maintenance.  SAP Query does it all. Listen to how WCC use this free tool to undertake a variety of tasks. "Can you write a report?" and "Can you automate it?" are two questions often asked by Users at WCC.  With the help of SAP Query, the response is usually "Yes we can".

Daniel Kennedy from Gazprom will present Using SAP certified reporting tool GL Wand to radically improve reporting.
When Daniel arrived at Gazprom he identified significant reporting issues. He will discuss why he sees GL Wand’s reporting functionality as a ‘game changer’, why it meets Gazprom’s needs and how the organisation is using it to deliver fast, effective reports.

Stephen Hambling
from Formulate Consulting will present Reporting alternatives for mid-sized companies.
For small and medium sized companies a separate reporting tool such as BI or BPC is a significant investment. Alternative solutions already within ECC are often overlooked, but can provide a faster and more cost effective solution. Stephen looks at what these solutions offer and the business case for using them.
