The SIG will start with a presentation from Mike Reaney from SABIC. He will discuss Maintenance Process Settings. A presentation about the various options that SABIC has chosen for the maintenance process settings such as notifications, work orders and failure coding.
Richard Wilkins from Mars will deliver an overview of Mars experience prototyping a native iPad application for maintenance using the SAP Mobile Platform. Content will also include discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of consumer mobile devices versus rugged mobile devices.

Kieran Pierce from Lemongrass Consulting Ltd will present SAP Plant Maintenance / Customer Service on Device . This session will include the following:

  • Overview of Lemongrass On Device
  • Overview of the Movilizer PM/CS capabilities
  • Typical implementation challenges
  • Typical project duration
  • Hand on demo on representatives own devices

Guy Spaven from SAP will lead a Round table discussion on Processes in SAP Maintenance and Service Management.
Including topics such as ‘’Is it always necessary/beneficial to create a notification’’, “On which level of the FL hierarchy should I raise the work order?, “when is it best to use a strategy plan? – bring your own questions and answers!

The day will also include the latest Customer Connection Update and information on this years annual conference
