As of 1st January 2013 there were 2,619 academies open in England and the rate at which Schools are converting continues to grow.
The User Group will be hosting a special event on the 11th April 2013 hosted by SAP at Clockhouse to allow Local Authorities who offer SAP services to Academy Schools, to share their experience of supporting Schools with services like Human Resources, Payroll and Finance.
Di Archer from Worcestershire County Council will present Migrating Academy Employees to the new Payroll Area. Worcestershire County Council implement a new Company Code and Payroll Area for Academy Schools who buy back Payroll services. During the process WCC use many tools such as LSMW, Winshuttle and various Epi-Use tools to aid the process.
Without these tools the process would take much longer and the risks of error would be greater. Listen to how WCC use these tools to ensure data accuracy and speed up the implementation process.
Amanda Byrne from Worcestershire County Council will give a session on Exception Reporting at Worcestershire County Council. Worcestershire County Council use SAP Query and Epi-Use Query Manager to create exception reports. These reports help WCC manage HR, Payroll and Finance data and ensure both accuracy and consistency by emailing HR, Payroll or Finance staff when data errors are identified.
