The ALM and ALM-Testing SIG have come together to organise a joint meeting with shows how to use SolMan throughout the whole life-cycle.
Paul Fenson & Dragan Stanojevic from SAP will present Understanding SAP Support offerings. Do you fully understand what’s available through SAP as part of your support engagement? Or the different types of support SAP offers? In the session we will cover the different support services and tools available to all SAP customers as well as providing an overview of the increasing scope of services within SAP Enterprise Support through to those available from our Premium Engagement offerings of SAP ActiveEmbedded and SAP MaxAttention.

Neil Dable and Jim Graley from KCA Deutag will discuss SolMan and automated testing at KCA Deutag. KCA Deutag have recently implemented an automated testing pilot across their core logistics process using SAP Solution Manager 7.1, integrated with HP QTP. This utilises the 2 free HP QTP licences available to Enterprise Support customers and we believe there are a number of benefits that our business is now realising. Jim and I will run through these and explain our approach to the project from the beginning and then into a business as usual activity.
Further, they have created the full business process structure and recorded Technical Bills of Materials (TBOMs) for the various transactions within the process and are now using the Business Process Change Analyser (BPCA) functionality for BAU change impact analysis.
After lunch this SIG will spilt into two separate streams which will contain the following:
Guy Spaven from SAP will present SAP PPM and how it links to Solution Manager. An overview of SAP Portfolio and Project Management and how it links to Solution Manager.
