Andy Hammerton from Gloucestershire CC & Shin Sawhney from Capgemini will discuss Deploying a new SAP BW Based Planning Solution in a challenging business environment. With increasing pressure on budgets and the need to drive out process savings, Gloucestershire County Council needed to improve their monthly budget monitoring process. Having undertaken a business case analysis and defined a rapid payback, hear how Gloucestershire County Council are deploying their new SAP solution to budget holders in order to promote self sufficiency in both planning and reporting.

Manish Jain from Capgemini will present What’s coming in SAP BPC 10.1. Gain an insight into what’s coming in the next major BPC version – with a special focus on the unified data model.

Andrew Simmonite from Capgemini will give a presentation on The Planning Applications Kit – an introduction. Introducing the Planning Applications Kit and the advantages it provides over SAP BW Integrated Planning.

Stuart Phillips from Centrica & Brendan Matthews from Capgemini will Execution of Centrica’s SAP BPC Strategy. As part of Centrica’s roadmap for BPC v10 they have just delivered a KPI reporting solution to approx 100 people. This solution allows them to manage and control the entry and reporting of nearly 1000 KPIs. Stuart Phillips the Project sponsor talks about the rationale behind the initiative and the challenges that had to be overcome. He also talks in general terms about Centrica’s ambition for BPC over the next few years.

Suraj Shah from SAP will present SAP EPM Roadmap. An opportunity to hear how SAP’s EPM portfolio is being further developed.
