We are running a Value Through Innovation Symposium at the Convention Centre Dublin on Thursday 27th March 2014.
This is a new and exclusive event for 2014 and follows the success of our first Analytics Symposium in 2013. The event will include a number of keynote sessions in the morning and three breakout streams in the afternoon with four different sessions running in each stream.

We are pleased to confirm that Marc Geall who is SVP Corporate Strategy, and Global Head of Corporate Market Intelligence at SAP will be delivering an SAP Strategy and Product Overview at the symposium. In early 2014 SAP launched the evolution of its Business Strategy through 2017. This is focused on “simplifying everything, to be able to do anything”. SAP realises that complexity is the major challenge facing organisations of all types, and to be successful complexity needs to be removed from everything. Marc’s presentation will focus on how SAP’s strategy will remove complexity internally and also help customers remove it from their IT landscape by making SAP innovation as relevant as possible, easy to understand, and easy to consume.The presentation will then focus on what this means for SAP’s product and go-to market strategies.
Alastair MacKenzie from Agility Works is presenting Using Innovation to Deliver Competitive Advantage. AgilityWorks, a Sunday Times Tech Track 100 company provides an insight into how technology innovations are being implemented now to provide competitive advantage and will share thoughts on the next major trends for customer engagement.
John McLarnon from SHS will be delivering a customer experience. From business case to deployment, hear how SHS implemented their BW HANA project. This presentation, supported by their service provider AgilityWorks, will walkthrough the key business challenges confronted by SHS, the resulting project approach and phasing, lessons learnt along the way and the performance gains delivered to date.
Agility Works will follow delivering Advanced Analytics using HANA – a case study with SHS Group. AgilityWorks and SHS Group will jointly present the recent project migrating BW to HANA covering lessons learnt and benefits being achieved.
Marcel Lindsay from SAP will present Welcome to the SAP Cloud - built for Business.
Eamonn O’Neill from Lemongrass Consulting Ltd will present Deploying SAP on the Amazon Web Services Cloud.
Maureen Allison,CIO at Halewood International and Chris Chittock, Founder of Pivot will be demonstrating The Best User Interface Challenge by deploying easy to use Production Scheduling on mobile tablets for your Factory Floor Team.
Bruno Tunderman from SAP will present Why and how to mobilise your Enterprise Business Processes?
Walter Beek and Kieran Pierce from Lemongrass Consulting Ltd will present Rapid Deployment of SAP on Mobile Devices.
Alexis Fouquier from SAP will be presenting SAP HANA Innovation Platform.
Darren McAlear from SuccessFactors, an SAP Company will present People Transformation with SAP HCM: Start Anywhere, Go Everywhere.
Ian Anstey from Knoa Software Inc will be delivering a session in our Mobile/User Experience Stream; Thinking of implementing Personas / Fiori? How do you know you’re not creating the same User acceptance problems with a new front-end?
