The University of Salford is a friendly, vibrant and pioneering University, based in Greater Manchester in the north west of England, which is rooted in the community but globally focused.
Earlier this year, the University and Zalaris worked together to upgrade their SAP environments and help build an extra PI Development system: updates which all contribute to ensuring a smooth payroll process. The project was undertaken during the COVID-19 lockdown where the University staff had to adapt to a changing work environment and uncertainty was all around us; yet it has been a great success and an addition to an already strong and beneficial relationship between Zalaris and the University of Salford.
“In short - we have been absolutely delighted with the project. Of particular note, was the project manager’s organisation and management for the duration. I think I said at project close that I have never been involved in a more efficient and well-planned project, and that was not an exaggeration! At all times, everyone on the project was fully aware of their tasks and responsibilities, communication channels were always clear and every meeting or discussion around the subject was concise and to the point. There was no wasted time and indeed this enabled us to upgrade the PI system as an additional task within the allotted time, which is a credit to their management of the project. I would echo the same for the consultant involved, his technical expertise and focused approach to this project made it possible to deliver an enormous amount of work on a tight timescale. He was always available when needed, even at short notice, and was able to communicate the more technical elements in a clear and understandable way. In light of the current global situation I think it's even more impressive that this was delivered so successfully.” - Applications Support Analyst, University of Salford
Stephen Burr, Head of Professional Services UK & Ireland also reflected, “I’m delighted that the University is again happy with the quality and efficient service we have provided. Credit to the team on their delivery and we look forward to continue in supporting the University in the months and years ahead.”
