We would like to make you aware of recent announcements that SAP has shared with the market.
First, it is our pleasure to share that Scott Russell has been named to the SAP Executive Board as head of the Customer Success organisation effective February 1, 2021.
An energetic and proven leader, Scott brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, management, consulting, and technology to his new role. Currently, he is the President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) and has been responsible for SAP’s extensive business growth and presence expansion in the APJ region for the past three years. Under his leadership, APJ has evolved to become one of SAP’s fastest-growing cloud markets globally. Scott is a passionate proponent of the latest innovations and simplified commercial models that help organisations move to and transform in the cloud quickly. We look forward to him bringing that same passionate leadership to his new global board role.
Scott succeeds Adaire Fox-Martin, who has decided to depart SAP and pursue her next chapter. Adaire is a successful and talented executive, whose tremendous customer advocacy will continue to influence SUGEN well into the future. Her leadership is evidenced most recently in the strong preliminary earnings SAP announced yesterday. We are incredibly grateful for her contributions to SAP over the past 13 years and wish her the very best in her next endeavors.
Also joining Scott at the Executive Board level is Julia White, who will serve in the new role of Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer, effective March 1, 2021. Julia brings outstanding customer empathy coupled with strong experience in transformation and innovation. She joins SAP after spending nearly 20 years at Microsoft Corporation where she led product marketing for Microsoft Azure over the past five years.

Throughout 2020, SAP has been a strong advocate for customers’ business value and long-term growth. These priorities have been at the centre of every decision the SUGEN Board has made, including our strategy revisions and organisational adjustment. Please be assured that both Scott and Julia begin their new roles fully committed to those same priorities.< Back to all news
